Data Warehouse

A Data Warehouse is a data store that serves as a foundation for decisions as well as data integration.

A Data Warehouse is used to collect, structure, clean and store data from company business systems in order to support one or more Business Intelligence solutions.

Implementation of a Data Warehouse is usually a complicated and lengthy task, which includes many different elements, such as a Data Staging Area, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store and Data Marts.

Platon’s competencies in Data Warehousing are:

  • Advisory services regarding set-up of a Data Warehouse Program
  • Review of existing Data Warehouse
  • Specifications for requirements to – and evaluation of – tools
  • Design and implementation of a Data Warehouse
