Career
I was hired as the first employee for the Århus office on 1 January 2001, and in my seven years at Platon I have been part of an exciting development that has allowed me to actually use a number of the skills that my MS in Business Administration and Computer Science provided me with.
The move to Platon was part of a desire to do more consulting in the field of Business Intelligence (BI). This turned out to be a path that I have had abundant opportunities to pursue, since my career at Platon has brought me through BI implementation, consulting, project management to the present, where I am now the manager of a department with five people. So there have been lots of new and exciting challenges the entire time. It’s great, from both an employee’s and manager’s point of view, that one has every chance of having a career in all the areas Platon works in.
Daily working life
Platon is a location with many different personalities with differing professional and human qualifications; for me, this is a good and giving environment to work in. Colleagues
It is not just professionally that there are lots of opportunities, our personnel association provides possibilities for holding all the social events that might be of interest. The problem, in fact, is that one has to say no to some of the many good initiatives!! In my leisure time, my great passion is cycling, which is something that I am also able to share with my colleagues at Platon Cycling events. This provides the opportunity to meet in a context outside of work.
