Unlimited hosting usage rules

At Platon Technologies we follow the principle that a product should fit the needs of the customer as closely as possible, so that the customer gets exactly what they need. In times when almost every website grows dynamically, we came up with products that use so called unlimited hosting.

So what is that unlimited hosting? Of course, literally unlimited hosting does not really exist. It is unlimited only within the means of the hosting provider, in our case Platon Technologies, so that the provider can keep the service running without trouble, and as long as certain standards of behaviour are kept, which guarantee that one user does not limit the others for their own benefit.

By standard behaviour we simply mean behaviour where the user does not significantly exceed a particular parameter, for example the amount of disk space used, the number of mailboxes, the data transfer or the number of databases used, within the range in which most users of shared webhosting at Platon Technologies use the service.

We do not provide unlimited hosting, nor any of the multihosting programmes, for websites with a large number of audio and video files, for file servers, download and upload sites, file hostings and the like. For such websites we will gladly help you pick a suitable virtual or dedicated server from our offer.

So why is this hosting package called unlimited? The answer is simple. The goal is to limit the customer as little as possible, because it is hard to tell in advance what parameters a website will end up needing, especially when it is a dynamically growing one. This programme therefore removes all the worry and effort of putting together the ideal package, and on top of that the customer is not restricted by preset parameters and by the fear of exceeding them. Should any single parameter be used excessively, the customer has nothing to worry about either. We contact them ourselves and propose a better solution in the form of a virtual or a dedicated server. We never shut websites down and we never delete any data.
