Reencode columns in table

With this simple tool, you can generate ALTER QUERYs to change the encoding of columns in a MySQL database table in bulk.

1.First, get the table structure in the MySQL console with the following command, where you insert the table name instead of table_name


desc table_name;

2.Paste the output of the command into the box below

3.Set the table name and the desired new encoding

4.Start ALTER QUERY generation with the following button

5.Copy the generated ALTER QUERY
